Chemo Pump Bags Delivered to Altru in Grand Forks

***𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲***

The Love Your Buns team recently had the opportunity to provide patients at Altru Health System with our first delivery of customized chemo pump bags to Grand Forks.

We were fortunate to have Chaplin John Ahola hand deliver these to Altru in Grand Forks. Thanks Pastor John and all of the LYB volunteers who are selflessly helping to make these bags!

We hope the bags will provide some improvement in comfort and a hint of fashion compared to the standard pump bags that are provided in clinical settings. While the standard bags are necessary for chemotherapy treatment, they can also be very uncomfortable, are not built for multi-purpose, and for many can be a symbol of anxiety, challenge and loss.

Multiple members of the Love Your Buns team are survivors and current fighters of cancer, and based on some of our own experiences we have tailored these bags for practical usage, which can also be used as a purse or a multi-purpose handbag.
