Volunteers Help LYB Sewing Chemo Pump Bags

Volunteers Bags.jpg

Volunteers from Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo recently helped to sew custom chemo pump bags, which will be donated to cancer patients across the region. Thanks to their talents, time and efforts, patients going through a challenging time with chemotherapy can experience some improvement in comfort and a hint of fashion compared to the standard pump bags that are provided.

While the standard bags are necessary for chemotherapy treatment, they can also be very uncomfortable, are not built for multi-purpose, and for many can be a symbol of anxiety, challenge and loss.

Multiple members of the Love Your Buns team are survivors and current fighters of cancer, and based on some of our own experiences we have tailored these bags for practical usage, which can also be used as a purse or a multi-purpose handbag.

If you would like to help Love Your Buns make a difference in your community, you can start by letting us know on our volunteer signup form. If you would like to support our programs monetarily, you can donate to LYB on this website, or you can even setup your own Facebook fundraiser for Love Your Buns at bit.ly/LYB-Give.
